Returns & refunds

Bespoke work is personal, so our policy is built around getting the fit right rather than shipping it back.

Every Marlowe garment is cut to one person. That shapes how returns work — the emphasis is on correction and remaking, not restocking, because a piece made for you cannot simply be resold.

Made-to-measure & bespoke

As custom items, bespoke and made-to-measure garments are not eligible for return or refund on the basis of a change of mind. What we do guarantee is the fit: if the finished garment differs from the specification agreed at your last fitting, we will correct or remake it at no charge.

Our fit guarantee

  • Raise any fit concern within fourteen days of collection.
  • Bring the garment in so we can assess it on you.
  • We adjust it; where adjustment isn't enough, we remake the affected piece using equivalent cloth.

Faulty workmanship

If a garment shows a genuine defect in our making or materials — a failed seam, a flaw we missed — we will repair or remake it without cost. Please tell us within thirty days of noticing so we can inspect it promptly.

When a refund applies

Should we prove unable to deliver a wearable garment to the agreed specification after reasonable attempts to correct it, you are entitled to a refund of amounts paid for that garment. Deposits remain non-refundable only where cutting has already begun and the work otherwise meets specification.

Alterations of outside garments

For alterations to garments not made by us, our responsibility is limited to the alteration performed. We cannot accept liability for the condition of the original garment.
